About Robert Rudzki, Jonathan Gilbert
Robert A. Rudzki, a former corporate executive, is President of Greybeard Advisors LLC, a leading provider of advisory services in procurement transformation, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management. Rudzki also serves on the board of directors of a privacy-software company and is a member of the advisory boards of several companies. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and management meetings.
Rudzki has more than 25 years of leadership experience across several industries. He has personally led several business transformation efforts that resulted in significant enhancements in corporate performance.
Prior to founding Greybeard Advisors in 2004, Rudzki served as Senior Vice President of Materials Management and Chief Procurement Officer for Bayer Corp. At Bayer, he led a nationally recognized transformation that generated significant improvements in costs and working capital, and was a finalist for Purchasing magazine’s Medal of Excellence. Prior to Bayer, he was an executive at Bethlehem Steel Corp., where he oversaw Bethlehem's global procurement and transportation activities, which were recognized as "top quartile" in a global benchmarking study conducted by A.T. Kearney. His group was recognized by Purchasing magazine as a "Best Place to Work."
In the course of his career, he has held various executive management positions, which included finance, accounting, procurement and logistics, business development, and P&L responsibility. He is co-author of the supply chain book Straight to the Bottom Line® and author of the leadership book Beat the Odds: Avoid Corporate Death and Build a Resilient Enterprise.
Jonathan Gilbert is an expert in supply chain management, logistics, sourcing, and planning, with over 20 years experience in improving service, reducing cost, increasing efficiency, and integrating new technologies for clients such as United Technologies, Celanese Corporation, Tenneco, DTE Energy, and others. He has created over $20 million in combined savings in transportation and logistics for clients in the manufacturing, distribution, and services sectors.
Before starting his consulting career, Gilbert served as Vice President, Logistics and Planning for NuCO2 of Stuart, Florida. He has also held significant leadership positions at MF Electronics as Director of Operations and BOC Group where he managed supply chain planning and software development teams. Mr. Gilbert started his career in national account sales and marketing at Pyle Corporation, a Pennsylvania-based trucking company and 3PL provider.
Gilbert is a CSCMP member and a former Vice President of the New Jersey/New York Chapter of the American Society of Transportation and Logistics. He earned an MBA degree from the Stern School of Business, and is a graduate of the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University.
