Presented By:
Chris Perceval, Jonathan M. Estes, Alyssa Farrell

IN ASSOCIATION WITH

A Guide to Measuring Performance in a Green Economy
Is your organization initiating measurement practices for sustainable performance? Or questioning the scope of your current programs? Do you need additional insight into future "green" requirements from your customers, regulators, or suppliers? You aren't alone.

Join us for a Webcast that will highlight emerging best practices for measuring and managing performance in a green economy with thought leaders from the World Resources Institute, SAS and Smart Green author Jonathan Estes.

The pursuit of a low-carbon economy has wide reaching impact on both public and private entities. While there is a tremendous amount of buzz in the market, more clarity on performance expectations is needed for those responsible for sustainable programs.

This panel will cut through the confusing market signals and focus on practical steps for an organization to gather intelligence about its green operations, and turn that into insight that drives smart growth, energy efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction. The common challenge is establishing the right objectives, measuring your current performance, and forming new partnerships for success.

This is the first in a three part web series focused on sustainability management. Future sessions will address reduction strategies and resource optimization.

Learning Objectives
Join this panel discussion to learn about:

  • Why your organization should care about the accuracy of your sustainability performance measures
  • How to stay abreast of developments in carbon management standards and external reporting requirements
  • Where to set the boundaries of your program measures and when it is appropriate to engage with your suppliers
  • What can we learn from case studies of public and private entities
