For years, many organizations have used what they thought were KPIs, but the measures have not had the impact their management and boards were seeking. KPIs themselves are mislabeled and misused. Organizations with more than 20 KPIs lack focus, lack alignment and underachieve. In fact, an organization typically has fewer than 10 true KPIs, and these are measured and reported 24/7, daily or, at the outer limit, weekly.

David Parmenter’s work on KPIs has received international recognition, and this seminar is an opportunity to catch up on the latest thinking on KPIs. Parmenter believes that there are three types of performance measures and that choosing the right mix is crucial for effective measurement and control.

After attending this seminar, you will be able to distinguish between KPIs and key result indicators; explain the new thinking on KPIs; report measures to your staff, management and board; and identify some performance measures relevant to your organization.

Tune in and learn how to choose the right KPIs for your organization.
