Rowan Bosworth-Davies, Director of Money Laundering & Fraud Solutions, SAS EMEA
Rowan Bosworth-Davies is widely recognised as a leading international expert, educator and consultant in the field of fraud prevention and anti-money laundering awareness with over 25 years practical and theoretical experience of the investigation and prosecution of fraud and white-collar crime. As well as being the former editor of the ‘Financial Times Fraud Report’, Rowan sits on the Money Laundering Editorial Board of Complinet. He is a legal consultant and a former Fraud Squad detective at New Scotland Yard, and ran the investigations division of one of the UK’s financial Self Regulating Organisations for two years. He has provided training and compliance programmes for the Bank of England, the U.K. National Criminal Intelligence Service, the National Police Staff College, Bramshill; as well as providing consultancy to the Money Laundering Steering Group of the British Bankers' Association.

Ross Rennison works for the Second Sea Lord within the Directorate of Naval Personnel Strategy in the British Royal Navy.

Professor Riaan de Jongh, Director of the Centre for Business Mathematics and Informatics (BMI), North-West University, South Africa
North-West University is the winner of this year's Academic Excellence Award. Riaan de Jongh is the Director of the Centre for Business Mathematics and Informatics (BMI). He holds a B.Comm (University of Stellenbosch), M.Sc (University of South Africa) and a Ph.D (University of Cape Town). Riaan spent 20 years in industry working for the Institute for Maritime Technology (IMT) and Deloittes Consulting before joining North-West University. He is the author and co-author of more than 20 articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and more than 150 project reports (which was completed for clients of IMT and Deloittes). In 1998 he was appointed as professor at the Centre for BMI and in 2002 he was appointed as Director of the Centre for BMI. He is a past president and fellow of the South African Statistical Association and currently serves as the South African regional director of the Global Association of Risk Professionals. He also serves on the editorial board of Collective Insight, an investment supplement to Finance Week.
