Program content
For many in the field of life sciences and healthcare the world of performance measurement remains a bewildering and confusing concept. Manufacturing and service organizations have been using performance measurement systems for well over a decade, achieving significant improvement in their ability to plan, diagnose and objectively evaluate overall organizational performance. More recently, performance measures are being formally deployed in various sectors of the life sciences industry to enable executives and managers to demonstrate their value-added contribution to strategic goals and objectives. This call for higher levels of accountability is impacting all areas of the organization, and the industry as a whole. It is for this reason that Performance Scorecards are being recognized as a critical tool to be added to the skill set of adroit healthcare and life sciences leaders and managers.
