Program content
Public sector organizations continue to face budget constraints while striving to provide a high level of service to their customers/constituents. As service levels and other outcome measures continue to rise, resources and staffing levels are not keeping up with such demands. These constraints, combined with fiscal pressures, have jeopardized the mission critical functions of these organizations.

To resolve this challenge, government organizations are turning to performance management to prepare a road map for success, gain cost savings, improve processes, free up people's time to do the work and ensure that taxpayer dollars are being spent in the best way possible.

Join Dr. Peter Turney and Dr. Manash Ray as they discuss performance management concepts and share insights about issues related to public sector performance management. While drawing from a diverse array of public sector projects, they will also provide an update on the South Dakota Department of Transportation's performance management project now in its third year: Where are they now? What are the challenges? What are the next steps? Don’t miss this opportunity to ask these experts your most pressing questions regarding performance management.
