Study:
Filing an insurance claim can often add another layer of frustration to an already difficult ordeal for those that have undergone an accident or endured damage to their personal property. A recent Accenture study examines the consumer experience with the insurance claims process and identifies areas where insurers can improve the claims process.
Ninety-four percent, nearly all of those U.S. adults that have filed a P&C claim in the past five years, cited quick resolution of an insurance claim as a highly important factor in the claims process, while 74 percent of respondents stressed the importance of the settlement amount offered.
